Job summary

City National Bank of Florida is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Management Officer to oversee an assigned CRE loan portfolio. You will underwrite new credits, manage renewals, conduct annual reviews, and monitor risk in a dynamic market environment.

The role requires a strong background in CRE underwriting and portfolio management, plus experience with construction underwriting and owner-occupied real estate. Collaboration with Relationship Managers is essential.

Qualifications

• 10 years of commercial real estate underwriting and/or portfolio management.
• Construction underwriting experience is a plus.
• C&I experience (with owner-occupied Real Estate) is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel for analysis.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized; capable of handling multiple deals.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and process new credit requests, including complex credits and construction projects.
• Renewals and modifications of existing credits; annual loan reviews and covenant testing.
• Monitor loan covenants and assess risk changes based on market conditions.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers to monitor, maintain, and grow loan portfolios.
• Prepare credit approval packages and ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines and policy.
• Support sales efforts and client calls; gather financial information for underwriting.
