Job summary

ChemPoint is seeking a Product Manager to grow our chemical, ingredient, and industrial finished products lines in a hybrid role based in Bellevue, WA or The Woodlands, TX. You will act as the primary liaison with suppliers, shape product line plans, and guide sales and marketing to achieve supplier objectives and ChemPoint goals.

Responsibilities include analyzing sales data, coordinating with Demand Planning and Supply Chain, mentoring interns, and traveling up to 25% for events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited four-year institution or equivalent
• Experience in B2B sales, preferably as Market Developer, or 5+ years in technical sales
• Experience with PC and Windows OS
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite with strong Excel skills
• Consultative selling skills
• Versatility in interacting with customers, suppliers, and outsourced relationships
• Effective communication via multiple modes, including telephone
• Knowledge of ChemPoint products & services and industries
• Problem-solving and negotiation
• Customer and territory management
• Knowledge of pricing and marketing strategy
• Understanding of ChemPoint IT applications, XRM database experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Liaises with suppliers and presents sales data to set expectations
• Analyzes sales results and guides marketing campaigns
• Builds product line plans aligned with supplier and ChemPoint goals
• Coordinates with Demand Planning and Supply Chain for forecasting
• Collaborates on demand generation learnings from activities
• Travel ~20–25% for engagement and events
• Mentors interns with assigned projects
• Promotes ChemPoint culture and innovation
• Stays informed on industry and global trends
• Performs other related duties
