Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Porter for The Porter Position at Explore Main Street Flats in Bellevue, WA. You will maintain grounds, amenities, exteriors, and leasing areas to maximize marketing appeal and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include trash removal, market-ready unit prep, exterior cleaning, weather-related maintenance, and incident reporting. Candidates should deliver strong service, organization, and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to cope with and defuse situations involving angry or difficult people.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Must maintain professional appearance and comply with prescribed uniform policy.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current auto insurance is required.
• Must comply with all safety requirements.
• Ability to shovel snow, apply ice melt and operate a commercial snow blower.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash and debris from office areas and property perimeter daily.
• Assist in the preparation of market ready units.
• Pressure wash exterior buildings, sidewalks, etc.
• Assist with property emergencies such as snow removal and other weather events.
• Clean available apartments and common areas as directed.
• Address property maintenance concerns related to weather conditions.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal and interact professionally with residents.
• Preserve and respect applicant and resident confidentiality.
• Foster a positive and collaborative relationship with residents and other properties.
• Immediately report maintenance and life-safety issues identified during duties.
• Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining cleanliness and curb appeal at all times.
