Job summary

Windstar Cruises seeks a Port Experience Lead to own the end-to-end guest journey in port, from embarkation to debarkation and port events. You will design experiences that are seamless, on-brand, and operationally sound.

Collaborating with Product Managers, Hotel Operations, Shore Excursions, and local partners, you will translate land concepts into port-side plans, oversee logistics, and ensure high guest satisfaction across turns and DDEs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cruise, travel, destination management, or large-scale live event operations.
• Proven ability to run complex logistics under time pressure — the ship sails.
• Strong judgement under pressure and bias toward anticipating problems.
• Excellent cross-functional communicator; able to direct third-party operators and local staff without direct authority.
• Willingness to be on call across time zones during turn days and major events.
• Comfort with operational systems and reporting; able to document and standardize what works.

Responsibilities

• Own port touchpoint guest experience from embarkation to debarkation.
• Design minute-by-minute guest journey for embarkation, debarkation, DDEs, and port events.
• Coordinate logistics with ships, port agents, vendors, and hotel operations.
• Manage ship-to-shore transfers and shuttle operations.
• Ensure experiences stay on brand and meet standards.
• Serve as on-call point for contingencies during turns and major events.
