Job summary

Windstar Cruises, LLC. is seeking a seasoned Port Experience Manager to own the end-to-end guest experience in port, including embarkation, debarkation, and onshore events.

The role requires coordinating with ships, port agents, vendors, and hotel operations to ensure seamless, on-brand experiences. The position demands strong logistics skills, cross-functional communication, and the ability to be on-call across time zones during turns and major events, as Windstar delivers luxury itineraries

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cruise, travel, destination management, or large-scale live event operations.
• Proven ability to run complex logistics under time pressure.
• Excellent cross-functional communicator; able to direct third-party operators and local staff.
• Willingness to be on call across time zones during turn days and major events.
• Comfort with operational systems and reporting; able to document and standardize what works.

Responsibilities

• Own the port experience and drive end-to-end guest journey in port, embarkation, debarkation, and related events to be on-brand and seamless.
• Design minute-by-minute guest journeys for embarkation, debarkation, DDEs, and port events.
• Coordinate with ships, port agents, vendors, Shore Excursions, Hotel Operations, Entertainment to execute port experiences.
• Manage on-site hotel and transfer logistics, staffing, and schedules for pre/post-cruise experiences.
• Lead on-call responses for contingencies, emergencies, and unplanned itinerary changes.
