• Significant leadership experience in port drayage or related logistics.
• Strong knowledge of the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.
• Proven record leading dispatch, customer service, and transportation ops teams.
• Established relationships within the Southern California port/logistics community.
• Ability to improve performance, service quality, and profitability.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day port drayage operations across dispatch and driver teams.
• Build and retain a high-performing operations team with clear accountability.
• Strengthen dispatch processes to improve utilization, productivity, and service levels.
• Oversee container pickups, terminal appointments, and chassis coordination.
• Improve communication between dispatch, drivers, customer service, and customers.
• Establish and monitor KPIs including utilization, cost per move, and on-time performance.
• Develop processes and procedures to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and support growth of the business.
• Partner with leadership to improve profitability and control operating costs.
• Develop managers and employees to deepen leadership depth.
