Job summary

PSA BDP, a member of the PSA Group, seeks a Director of Drayage to lead drayage strategy, carrier procurement, pricing, and operations across its surface business. You will guide three department leaders, align capacity with commitments, and drive profitable growth while ensuring superior customer service.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Compliance, and Business Development, overseeing performance and escalation processes to optimize service delivery.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in drayage, intermodal, or transportation management with leadership of teams/managers.
• Strong knowledge of port/rail operations and drayage service risks.
• Ability to analyze margins, costs, and service data to drive actions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the drayage strategy across procurement, operations, staffing, and carrier coverage.
• Lead three department leaders, set priorities, and drive performance and growth.
• Oversee carrier onboarding, rate agreements, and capacity commitments with compliance.
