Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Drayage Dispatcher to plan driver utilization for container movements between port locations and customer facilities. The role includes load planning, scheduling, and ensuring accurate status updates in the TMS, with a focus on timely communication and KPI reporting.

You will work with an in-house fleet and sub-haulers, maintaining strong coordination with dispatchers and drivers while supporting safety and operational programs. Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of port drayage experience with ocean container drayage customers.
• High school diploma required.
• Experience in drayage/intermodal business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides load planning and driver scheduling for in-house fleet and sub-haulers.
• Maintains positive relations with dispatchers and drivers.
• Communicates service issues to facility departments promptly.
• Produces daily and weekly KPI reports.
• Manages operations inputs for driver settlement.
• Uses Trinium system to address issues and document interactions.
• Maintains ample sub-haulers to handle volume spikes.
• Follows escalation processes for major service failures.
• Responds promptly to driver or carrier needs.
• Enters load status accurately into the operation system.
• Supports safety, security, and operational program rollouts.
• Ensures timely completion of daily and weekly tasks.
