Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Drayage Dispatcher in the United States to plan driver utilization for container movements to and from port locations to customer facilities. You will schedule loads, coordinate with in-house and sub-haulers, and maintain carrier relationships.

Responsibilities include producing KPI data, using the Trinium TMS, and ensuring timely task completion. Bilingual English/Spanish is required; a high school diploma is required, with port drayage experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides load planning, driver scheduling/appointments for in house owner operator fleet and sub-haulers.
• Maintains positive working relations with all dispatchers and drivers.
• Provides constant communications of service issues to facility departments.
• Provides daily and weekly KPI data reports.
• Manages operations inputs for driver settlement.
• Utilizes Trinium system to address issues and document interaction.
• Maintains ample sub-haulers to handle volume spikes.
• Follows escalation process for major service failures.
• Responds promptly to driver or carrier needs.
• Accurate entry of load status into operation system.
• Assists with safety, security, and operational program rollouts.
• Ensures timely completion of daily and weekly tasks.
