Job summary

Ennismore at Delano Miami Beach is seeking a Pool & Beach Server to deliver food and drinks to guests around the outdoor pool and beach area. You will ensure high levels of service and safety while maintaining a clean, organized environment.

Under the general guidance of the Pool and Beach General Manager, you will greet guests, take orders, serve beverages and food, handle POS transactions, and assist with seating and amenities in a fast-paced outdoor setting.

Qualifications

• Previous food and beverage pool serving experience (1–2 years) in a hotel, resort, or high‑volume restaurant is common.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; ability to upsell menu items.
• Position requires alcohol service certification and other local permits/health cards.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus, explain specials, and take accurate food and beverage orders using a POS or order pad.
• Serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages and food to guests in a timely, professional manner around pool, sunbeds, cabanas, and beach chairs.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, anticipate needs, and handle basic complaints or special requests courteously.
• Set up and break down pool/beach service stations, stocking linens, glassware, paper goods, condiments, and bar items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of pool decks, tables, chairs, and service areas; clear dishes and towels promptly.
• Follow health, safety, and alcohol service regulations, including checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption.
• Enter orders into POS, print checks, process payments, and provide correct change when handling cash.
