Job summary

Deering Bay Yacht & Country Club in Coral Gables, FL, is seeking a Part-Time Pool Attendant/Server to deliver top‑tier poolside hospitality to members and guests in a private club setting.

Ideal candidates have hospitality or pool service experience, excellent service and communication skills, and are comfortable outdoors. Must be able to stand/walk for long periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and work weekends/ evenings as needed.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or pool service experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, outgoing, and team‑oriented personality.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
• CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, and Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain on hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, professional service to members and guests.
• Greet by name and anticipate needs.
• Set up and maintain pool deck and lounge areas.
• Manage towel inventory and chair reservations.
• Enter orders in POS and charge to member accounts.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety/sanitation standards.
• Monitor safety and assist during emergencies per club procedures.
