Job summary

Bermuda Lakes is creating a brand-new poolside bar and restaurant at our RV Resort in Fort Myers. We’re hiring Prep/Line Cooks full and part time to prepare and plate upscale bar favorites served fast, with a casual, guest-focused vibe.

You will work with a collaborative team, maintain prep area cleanliness, assist with inventory, and ensure food safety. Competitive wages and benefits include health, dental, vision, PTO, life insurance, HSA, and 401K with employer contributions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current food handling certification (e.g. ServSafe or AAA) preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and measure ingredients according to recipes and instructions provided by the kitchen team.
• Wash, peel, chop, and cut vegetables, fruits, and other food items as needed.
• Prepare a variety of dishes according to provided recipes accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep area, including proper storage of ingredients.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Support chefs and cooks by providing prepared ingredients promptly to facilitate meal preparation.
• Safely utilize grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment when necessary.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and utensils after use.
