Job summary

The Sundial Beach Resort & Spa in Sanibel, Florida has an opening for an experienced Line Cook. Ideal candidates have flexible availability, excellent customer service skills and the desire to provide an exceptional experience for our guests.

You must be able to work sauté, pantry and fry stations. Responsibilities include preparing items from soups to breakfast and entrees, maintaining high sanitary standards, and supporting the culinary team in a fast-paced resort kitchen.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and maneuver heavy items safely.
• Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and utensils.
• Provide fast, friendly and responsive service to kitchen and service teams.
• Prepare items per ticket including soups, sauces, salads, sandwiches and entrees.
• Use proper cooking methods and rotate stored foods per health standards.
• Maintain sanitary standards and personal cleanliness at all times.
• Ensure workstation safety and security.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
