Job summary

Rancho Valencia Resort is seeking a friendly pool attendant to engage with pool guests and ensure they have all needed amenities and supplies. The role includes setting up and tidying pool areas, delivering towels, water, and daily amenities, and coordinating with other departments for guest satisfaction.

The position requires clear English communication, a positive attitude, and availability across weekdays, weekends, mornings, evenings, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be engaging, outgoing and personable.
• Must communicate clearly in English with guests and staff.
• Availability to work weekdays, weekends, mornings, evenings and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain pool area, arrange umbrellas, chairs, towels and water stations.
• Greet guests and offer seating and assistance upon arrival.
• Assist guests with sunblock, sunglasses, menu questions and daily amenities.
• Ensure guest comfort and satisfaction throughout pool visits.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, spa, room service and bell staff as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and report incidents per property policy.
• Performs other duties as requested.
