Job summary

CoralTree Hospitality in San Diego seeks a friendly Pool Attendant to keep the pool area inviting, clean, and safe. You will greet guests, assist with towel service, monitor safety, and coordinate with food and beverage teams.

This role requires a sunny disposition, strong communication, and the ability to stand for long periods outdoors, with lift capability up to 25 lbs. Weekends and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality or guest service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain professional and composed in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of pool safety standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, courteous service throughout their poolside experience.
• Set up and maintain lounge chairs, umbrellas, towels, and cabanas.
• Ensure pool areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety and health standards.
• Monitor guest activity to promote a safe and relaxing environment.
• Refresh towels and amenities promptly.
• Assist with food and beverage service as needed in coordination with the restaurant team.
• Respond to guest requests with urgency and professionalism.
• Enforce pool rules and hotel policies in a respectful and tactful manner.
• Support opening and closing duties, including setup and breakdown of the pool deck.
