Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Service and Development Scientist for polyurethane rigid foams at its Marietta, GA location. The role leads customer interactions, collaborates across technical, commercial and manufacturing functions, and drives new product development from lab to production.

Applicants should have 6+ years in rigid foam polyurethane formulation, and a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Travel ~30% and no visa sponsorship are noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field (or equivalent military experience).
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in rigid foam polyurethane products and related applications.
• US work authorization required; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Designs value-creating solutions for customers with defined scope and impact.
• Develops hypotheses, plans and executes experiments; interprets results.
• Provides technical support for trials at customer locations and scale-up of new products.
• Collaborates across research, commercial, supply chain and manufacturing teams.
• Generates data to support IP development and protects Dow’s IP.
• Engages with external professional orgs to stay current with tech and markets.
• Documents work in internal reports and presentations.
