Job summary

Dow Inc. in Marietta, GA, seeks a Technical Service and Development Scientist for rigid polyurethane foams. You will lead technical interactions with customers and collaborate across technical, commercial, and manufacturing teams to deliver solutions and guidance on Dow products.

You will develop business cases, create new products from lab to production, support trials, troubleshoot at customer sites, and communicate results to stakeholders. Travel ~30% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science or related field (or equivalent military experience).
• Minimum 6 years' relevant experience leading projects in rigid foam polyurethane formulations.
• Ability to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Designs value-creating solutions for customers with defined scope and impact.
• Plans and executes experiments; interprets results and refines hypotheses.
• Provides technical support for trials and scale-up of products.
• Collaborates across research, commercial, supply chain and manufacturing teams.
• Documents work in internal reports and presentations.
