Job summary

Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL seeks a Part Time Sleep Polysomnographic Technologist Level I for night shifts. You will perform data analyses, diagnostic studies, titration polysomnography, and MSLT, while supporting scheduling and daily operations of the Sleep Center.

The role requires BRPT/AASM or RCP credentials, BCLS certification, and 1 year sleep lab experience; a degree in polysomnography or respiratory therapy is preferred.

Qualifications

• BRPT/AASM registration or AASM certification or licensed RCP required
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire
• Graduate of an accredited polysomnography or respiratory therapy program preferred
• 1 year technical experience in a sleep lab/center preferred
• Experience scoring sleep studies preferred
• Associate or Bachelor degree required; high school diploma or equivalent acceptable if no degree

Responsibilities

• Perform sleep disorder center procedures including polysomnography, CPAP/BiPAP titration, and MSLT in line with standards
• Assist Sleep Center manager/director with scheduling, phones, and daily operations
• Provide patient education and ensure safety and quality care in the sleep disorder center

Education
