American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Polysomnographic Technologist for a night shift in a hospital-based Sleep Center in Bloomington, IL. The role requires RPSGT or RST credentials and at least one year of sleep lab experience.

Responsibilities include in-center and HSAT testing, PAP titration, and patient education. The position offers 4x10 hour night shifts, every other weekend, with comprehensive benefits and travel/licensure support.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of one year of relevant sleep lab experience required.
• Associate’s Degree in Polysomnographic Technology or completion of a certificate program in Polysomnographic Technology required.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• RPSGT or RST credential required.
• License required if applicable.
• Proficient in distinguishing sleep/wake states, scoring clinical events, and interpreting physiologic data.
• Skilled in equipment and physiologic calibrations, infection control, and quality assurance procedures.

Aufgaben

• Work in a hospital-based Sleep Center performing in-center and home sleep apnea testing (HSAT).
• Night shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts.
• Works every other weekend.
• No holiday shift requirement.
• Utilizes equipment for PAP titration, oximetry, actigraphy, MSLT, and MWT testing.
• Provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
• Educates and supports patients and families regarding sleep disorders and treatment.
• Documents patient arrival, consent, and test observations according to policy.
• Performs PAP interface fitting, desensitization, and patient education.
• Correlates physiologic data and behavioral observations to support scoring and interpretation.
• Performs equipment cleaning, disinfection, and calibration to maintain data quality.
• Participates in quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Maintains professional and respectful communication with patients, families, and staff.
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible.
• Requested time off may not exceed 7 total days during the 13-week contract.
