Job summary

Cynet Health in Bloomington, IL seeks a Polysomnographic Technologist for a 13-week Sleep Therapy assignment. You will perform in-center and home sleep apnea testing, score sleep stages, and administer therapeutic interventions while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout testing.

This night shift (4x10s) requires at least one year of sleep lab experience, RPST or RPST (Registered Sleep Technologist) license, BLS certification, and strong documentation, communication, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of sleep lab experience.
• License as Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or Registered Sleep Technologist.
• BLS certification required.
• Must have knowledge of in-center and home sleep testing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Document patient arrival, testing orders, and consent for testing.
• Acquire and document additional information to ensure test appropriateness.
• Perform routine PAP interface fitting and desensitization.
• Score sleep/wake stages and clinical events according to guidelines.
• Prepare reports and maintain testing equipment and infection control.
