Job summary

Mercyhealth Wisconsin and Illinois employs a polysomnographic technician to gather patient data, prepare testing, apply electrodes, score sleep studies, and generate reports. The role follows AASM/Center protocols for MSLT, MWT, HSAT, and titrations, ensuring accurate, artifact-free data.

The position requires CPSGT/BRPT/ABSM/NBRC- or equivalent-credentialing, CPR, and completion of a polysomnography program of at least one year. Evening/night shift, on-site at Mercyhealth facilities.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one-year duration.
• Current CPR certification. Certain AHA courses may not meet Mercyhealth standards.
• Certified Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT) or BRPT/RPSGT/ABSM/NBRC credentials, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze patient information.
• Testing preparation procedures and equipment calibration.
• Perform polysomnographic and other testing procedures per protocols.
• Polysomnographic record scoring and generation of reports.
• Clerical duties and scheduling activities as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
