Nava Public Benefit Corp. seeks a Policy Strategist to advance a digital eligibility platform for government services. You will translate Medicaid policy into system behavior, notices, and case management, working with product, design, and engineering teams.

You will research federal and state requirements, prioritize policy work, and produce concrete recommendations that improve service experiences. This role emphasizes collaboration, policy expertise, and practical impact.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of policy analysis experience.
• Experience researching and interpreting policy using statutes, regulations, or authoritative agency guidance.
• Ability to build and nurture relationships with internal teams and external partners.
• Self-directed and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in policy contexts.
• Understanding of public programs at multiple levels of government.

Responsibilities

• Translate policy into system behavior, workflows, and user experiences.
• Identify regulatory constraints, risks, and ambiguities and propose compliant solutions.
• Create artifacts (e.g., policy briefs, decision frameworks, process flows) to support decision-making.
• Support testing and validation of policy implementation.
