Job summary

Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking a Policy Strategist to help translate policy into practical decisions for an integrated eligibility platform.

You will work with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure compliant, user-centered government services and effective policy implementation across applications, notices, and case management. The role emphasizes independent research, prioritization with teams, and staying current on evolving regulations and technology trends to improve service

Qualifications

• 3+ years of policy analysis experience or equivalent graduate-level background.
• Ability to research federal/state requirements and translate into actionable recommendations.
• Experience with Medicaid eligibility and enrollment policy.
• Familiarity with agile delivery and human-centered design processes.
• Proven ability to document research methods, findings, and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Translate policy into system behavior, workflows, and user experiences.
• Identify regulatory constraints, risks, and ambiguities and propose compliant solutions.
• Support testing and validation of policy implementation across scenarios.
• Conduct landscape and cross-jurisdictional research to inform implementation.
• Build relationships with external partners to share Nava’s policy expertise.
