Qualifications

• Requires valid active Texas TCOLE license with up-to-date annual training.
• Minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience in law enforcement, with two (2) years supervisory experience.
• Requires technical certification or licensing directly related to the job as specified.

Responsibilities

• Supervises shift personnel, assigns work, and evaluates performance.
• Coordinates Beat Management, call responses, and crime scene investigations.
• Disseminates information on criminal activity and safety events to staff.
• Acts as liaison with the community, providing safety information and crime prevention.
• Identifies efficiencies in department operations and processes.
• Prepares and reviews reports and maintains supervisory files.
• Conducts regular building, uniform, and vehicle inspections.
• Participates in periodic training as required.
• Investigates complaints concerning shift personnel.
• Performs police patrol duties as needed.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
