Job summary

The University Police Department is seeking a shift supervisor to enforce campus safety policies and coordinate a team of police and security officers. You will supervise, schedule, and evaluate officers, provide in-field instruction, and brief on criminal activity and events on campus.

Responsibilities include preparing incident reports, coordinating responses, and maintaining safety for students, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• 60 college credits/Associate degree required.
• Three years experience as commissioned officer with university police or five years combined law enforcement experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enforces policies and procedures.
• Manages a shift of police and security officers to ensure campus safety.
• Supervises, schedules, assigns work, and evaluates performance of law enforcement personnel.
• Conducts shift roll call and briefings on criminal activity and events.
• Prepares and distributes incident reports and operates with external groups.
