Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to type at a reasonable speed and speak clearly.
• Experience with dispatching and public safety communications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives law enforcement and utility service requests and calls.
• Operates radios, telephone and computer terminals.
• Monitors alarm systems and transmits messages.
• Maintains radio logs and coordinates personnel as needed.
• Receives complaints in person or by phone and assesses needs.
• Types, files, and generates reports from the DCI system.
