Job summary

Pacific Gas and Electric Company is seeking a Pole Test & Treat Strategy Subject Matter Expert to lead the PG&E Electric Distribution PTT program. You will drive best practices for preventive maintenance and asset-condition assessments, targeting pole structural health and GO 165 compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Ability to comprehend complex systems and data infrastructure to drive strategic decision making.
• Experience in GIS analytics and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the PTT Playbook, including inspection eligibility criteria, cycle methodology, annual compliance population, and annual intrusive-inspection work plan.
• Translate regulatory requirements into clear, documented program requirements, controls, and decision logic.
• Own the intrusive testing Procedure and revise practices for continuous improvement.
• Provide forward-looking compliance assurance by validating eligibility and inspection attainment to detect population readiness.
• Support cause analysis, corrective actions, and investigations to understand gaps and mitigate risk.
• Integrate PTT into the pole lifecycle and asset-health strategy to inform repair and replacement decisions.
• Support regulatory, audit and WMP controls with data requests and traceable records.
• Offer strategic recommendations on future PTT scope, cycles, and improvements.
