Job summary

Rail Events Productions in New Orleans is seeking Retail Agents to support the THE POLAR EXPRESS Train Ride. You will greet guests, process purchases, and maintain an inviting retail space.

This seasonal, non-exempt role requires strong customer service, reliable teamwork, and attention to merchandising standards. Cash handling and basic POS familiarity are a plus.

Onsite work with evenings and weekends; potential for end-of-season bonus and meals for show days.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong collaborator with reliability, organization and accountability.
• Effective communication skills to engage guests and team members.
• Cash handling experience a plus.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they enter the retail space and assist with questions, purchases, and service needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment reflecting the immersive experience.
• Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for merchandise or event information.
• Support merchandising efforts, including displays, restocking, and restocking across locations.
• Learn and operate the POS system to process transactions accurately.
• Collaborate with the event team to foster a positive atmosphere for guests and staff.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures to reset for the next event day.
• Additional duties as needed
