Job summary

Rail Events Productions is seeking a Retail Supervisor for THE POLAR EXPRESS Train Ride in New Orleans. The role oversees on-site retail operations, coordinates with the AHR Retail Manager and Front of House, and acts as the primary point of contact with vendors and staff to ensure a seamless passenger experience.

The position requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask under pressure in a seasonal, hourly environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years retail management experience, preferably in high-volume environments.
• Proven ability to lead a team and work with event staff.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maximize profitability by managing daily staff duties and inventory controls.
• Oversee opening/closing processes and register management with standard compliance.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety protocols and ensure merchandising standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service and drive sales.
• Lead staff training and manage performance in a temporary, fast-paced environment.
• Coordinate with FOH Manager to ensure proper breaks and load-in/out processes.
