Job summary

Technica LLC seeks a Supply Technician (POL) for a government contract with at White Sands Missile Range, NM. You will track POL/hazardous materials inventory, maintain accountability records, and prepare replenishment requests to support the fuel distribution mission.

You will work with DoD procedures (AR 710-2, DoD 4140.25-M) and DoD forms; strong Excel skills and familiarity with automated systems are required. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency needed; pass drug/background checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in supply, POL inventory, or fuel accountability in DoD or similar.
• Working knowledge of Army supply regs (AR 710-2, DA PAM 710-2-1, AR 725-50, DoD 4140.25-M).
• Experience with automated systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience preparing Inventory Adjustment Reports (IARs) and causative research for inventory discrepancies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident for CAC/NACI eligibility.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Subject to monthly random drug testing under the contract drug-free workplace program.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Tracks and reports POL and hazardous materials inventory for the WSMR fuel distribution mission; compiles consumption data to support POL forecasts.
• Records fuel transactions and maintains accountability records in FAS/FMD or designated system.
• Prepares fuel replenishment requests and tracks delivery schedules and stock levels across fuels.
• Assists with quarterly POL stock level reviews by compiling consumption data and shelf-life information.
• Prepares Inventory Adjustment Reports (IARs) and causative research documentation for inventory discrepancies.
• Prepares monthly DoD form DA 3644 from daily records; reconciles receipts, issues, and transfers.
• Performs accountability tasks in accordance with DoD and Army regulations.
• Files certificates of quality conformance and ships fuel samples to Army Fuels Lab within 72 hours.
• Maintains fuel-related bench stock and identifies replenishment needs.
• Assists fuel crew with completing accountability forms and records.
• Keeps the Fuel Distribution Supervisor informed of stock levels and shortages.
• Prepares POL reports for PWS/CDRLs and submits to Supervisor for review.
