Qualifications

• At least 3 years supervising drivers or fuel distribution operations.
• Working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA CDL regulations.
• Knowledge of fuel handling, storage, and safety procedures.
• Collaborative work style across a multi-site, remote workforce.
• Strong organizational and scheduling skills across dispersed points.
• US citizen or permanent resident for CAC/NACI eligibility.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college or supervisory training preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must be able to travel between WSMR posts and sites.
• Must read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee POL/fuel distribution operations at WSMR Main Post and remote points.
• Plan weekly and monthly work schedules and staffing.
• Ensure fuel quantities and draw from designated bulk point.
• Assign routes, tasks, and manage unanticipated schedule changes.
• Monitor FMCSA hours-of-service and CDL/medical certifications.
• Coordinate maintenance and material requirements with maintenance functions.
• Ensure fuel quality per MIL-STD-3004 and maintain certificates.
• Enforce cold refueling and grounding/bonding procedures.
• Record labor hours, mileage, and fuel issued daily.
• Prepare overtime requests and quarterly estimates.
• Conduct training needs assessments and performance reviews.
• Comply with safety, environmental standards, and DOT/FMCSA regs.
• Complete deliverables: daily fueling activity report, Form DA 3643/3644, etc.
• Review and approve timesheets; hire for FDSO positions.
