Job summary

Jamul Casino Resort is seeking a Poker Supervisor to lead the poker room operations, guide the poker team, monitor game integrity, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

The ideal candidate brings poker experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead by example while delivering exceptional guest service. This role requires flexibility across shifts and a commitment to safety, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year experience in Poker or equivalent.
• Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Excellent skills in both written and oral communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word) and knowledge of Poker operating systems.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide; compute rates and percentages.
• Ability to interact with guests and resolve conflicts diplomatically.
• Ability to earn and maintain TiPS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and daily supervision to staff in the Poker area.
• Adhere to scheduling and coordinate with manager as needed with guest satisfaction in mind.
• Support compliance with departmental budgets.
• Promote and demonstrate superior customer service and address issues promptly.
• Maintain card security and monitor poker game integrity during shifts.
• Monitor chips and cash transactions and ensure accurate payouts.
• Report regulatory compliance issues to management and maintain confidentiality.
