Job summary

Jamul Casino is seeking a Poker Supervisor to lead daily poker room operations and guide the poker team on the casino floor. You will monitor game integrity, ensure policy compliance, and uphold guest service standards in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

The role requires poker experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead by example. TiPS and Gaming License eligibility are expected, with flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year experience in Poker or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
• Excellent skills in both written and oral communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word) and knowledge of Poker operating systems.
• Ability to perform basic math and interpret charts and graphs.
• Ability to interact with guests, staff and resolve conflicts diplomatically.
• TiPS certification required for the role.
• Gaming License required or ability to obtain license.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and guidance to staff in the Poker area.
• Coordinate scheduling with manager with emphasis on guest satisfaction.
• Support compliance with departmental budgets and standards.
• Promote superior customer service and adherence to company policies.
• Maintain card security and ensure fair play during shifts.
• Monitor chips and cash transactions and ensure correct payouts.
• Account for chips, fills, and credits as needed.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and report issues to management.
• Maintain confidentiality of departmental matters.
