Capital Health is seeking a Medical Technologist to join the Laboratory team in Mercer, PA. The role supports point-of-care testing quality assurance and data reporting while ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate test results.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a science-related field, MT ASCP preferred, and at least three years of experience in a clinical lab with POC testing experience. Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

• Bachelor's degree in science related field, MT ASCP preferred.
• Three years of experience as a Medical Technologist, POC experience preferred.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret varied instructions in writing, oral, or diagrams.
• Excellent communication and intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Mansioni

• Oversee quality assurance of POC testing and report findings to management.
• Develop reports and collect data for POC QA activities.
• Monitor regulatory requirements for POC testing and compliance.
• Analyze outcomes and proficiency testing results for quality assurance.
• Provide training and competency assessments for POC staff.
• Ensure accurate records and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Coordinate proficiency testing and corrective actions as needed.
