Job summary

Capital Health System, Inc. is seeking a qualified medical laboratory professional to perform routine bacteriological, serological, hematological and chemical testing. You will prepare specimens, run analyses, and document results to ensure accurate patient reports.

The role requires an associate degree in science and prior clinical lab experience, with ASCP preferred. Strong computer skills and adherence to safety and QA standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in science related field; ASCP preferred.
• Experience in clinical laboratory employment.
• Knowledge of computers; ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions.
• Completion of training in medical technology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Performs testing accurately and timely using automated equipment or manual methods.
• Prepares blood and body fluid samples for analysis with proper patient identification.
• Records results using manual and electronic reporting methods.
• Adheres to infection control standards and quality assurance practices.
• Instructs student technicians and staff as required.
