Job summary

Abbott Point of Care (APOC) is seeking an Outpatient Account Executive to cover Richmond and Eastern Virginia. The role leads commercial execution, expands market share, and collaborates with internal teams to advance sales cycles.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of sales experience or 1+ year with a clinical background and is willing to travel up to 50%. Proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years of relevant sales experience or 1+ years with a clinical background (BSN, MLT, CLS, RT, Cardiac Tech, etc.).
• Must reside in the territory and travel up to 50% in the assigned territory and other locations as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and grow relationships with APOC and Distributor Partners in the assigned territory.
• Achieve sales targets through efficient and effective sales cycle and territory management.
• Identify and develop KOLs that can advocate for Point of Care solutions in the market.
• Maintain sales base while closing new business in both new and existing accounts.
• Navigate complex sales environments with multiple stakeholders and dynamic decision-making criteria, while building relationships.
• Develop and execute sales strategies and mitigate risks.
• Complete administrative tasks (training modules, expense reports, sales forecasts, etc.).
• Travel within territory up to 50% and some regional/overnight travel is required.
