Qualifications

• Experience as Medical Assistant preferred.
• Podiatry or Orthopedic clinic experience preferred.
• X-ray experience is a plus.
• Experience in EMR; athenahealth preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Place patients in exam rooms and prepare them for physician visits.
• Complete exam intake including medical, social, surgical histories and ROS.
• Record vitals and documentation in athenahealth EMR.
• Assist physician with podiatric care and x-ray procedures.
• Restock exam rooms and maintain cleanliness of rooms and equipment.
• Coordinate care and referrals for Upperline Plus patients.
• Travel to surrounding clinics if needed.
• Perform other related duties as required.
