Upperline Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in a clinic setting, primarily at the Snellville, GA location. You will handle clinical and administrative tasks, assist with x-ray procedures, and work with a team of specialists to deliver coordinated care.

Ideal candidates have experience in podiatry or orthopedics, familiarity with EMR systems (Athenahealth), and strong communication skills. The role requires flexibility and teamwork in a busy health care environment.

Qualifications

• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Podiatry or Orthopedic clinic experience preferred.
• X-ray experience is a plus.
• Experience with EMR systems, preferably Athenahealth.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prep them for the physician.
• Obtain and review medical history, social history, surgical history, and HPI.
• Record vitals and document in Athenahealth EMR.
• Assist podiatric physician with exams and X-rays as needed.
• Perform daily administrative tasks and restock exam rooms.
• Sterilize exam and x-ray rooms after each patient and daily.
• Coordinate care and arrange referrals as required.
• Travel to nearby clinics to provide support when needed.
