Upperline Health, Inc. in Noblesville, IN is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support physicians in delivering care within the clinic setting.

This role emphasizes clinical tasks, x-ray support, and administrative coordination, with a focus on podiatry/orthopedic care. Ideal candidates will have MA experience, EMR familiarity (athenahealth), strong communication, and a willingness to travel to nearby clinics as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• Podiatry or Orthopedic clinic experience preferred.
• X-ray experience is a plus.
• EMR experience with athenahealth preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Care coordination experience is ideal.
• Geriatric patient care experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Place patients in exam rooms and prepare them for the physician.
• Complete exam intake: medical history, social/surgical history, and HPI.
• Record vitals and documentation in the EMR (athenahealth).
• Provide patient care under a podiatric physician, including taking x-rays.
• Restock exam rooms and dispose of trash as part of daily tasks.
• Clean and sterilize exam and x-ray rooms after each patient and daily.
• Support telephonic outreach and engagement with patients.
• Coordinate care including records requests, orders, appointments and referrals.
• Travel to surrounding clinics to provide support when needed.
• Other related duties as deemed by Upperline Health.
