Upperline Health is seeking an energetic Medical Assistant to support physicians in our Hixson, TN clinic. The role covers a range of clinical and administrative tasks to help deliver specialized podiatry care.

You will assist with patient intake, vitals, x-ray support, and care coordination, while ensuring quality patient experiences in a weekday clinic setting.

Qualificações

• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Podiatry or Orthopedic clinic experience preferred.
• X-ray experience is a plus.
• Experience with EMR systems, preferably athenahealth.
• Excellent communication and customer service.

Responsabilidades

• Place patients in exam rooms and prepare them for the physician.
• Complete exam intake including medical, social, surgical histories.
• Record vitals and documentation in Athenahealth EMR.
• Assist in exams and take x-rays as needed.
• Restock and clean exam rooms daily.
• Support care coordination and telephonic outreach.
• Travel to surrounding clinics as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
