Upperline Health, Inc. is seeking a Lead Medical Assistant to support our Memphis, TN clinic and assist physicians with clinical and administrative tasks. Ideal candidates will have podiatry or orthopedic experience and X-ray exposure, with strong EMR skills and patient-care focus.

You will coordinate patient care, ensure exam readiness, manage documentation, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team across Upperline Health’s care pathways, while maintaining weekday clinic hours.

Formación

• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• Podiatry or Orthopedic clinic experience preferred.
• X-ray experience is a plus.
• EMR experience, preferably athenahealth.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and communication.
• Experience caring for geriatric patients is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Place patients in exam rooms and prepare them for the physician.
• Complete exam intake, review medical, social, surgical histories.
• Record vitals and documentation in Athenahealth EMR.
• Assist physician during exams and take x-rays as needed.
• Perform daily administrative tasks and restock rooms.
• Sterilize exam and x-ray rooms after visits and daily.
• Coordinate care with Upperline Plus patients and referrals.
• Travel to nearby clinics to provide support if needed.
