Job summary

Upperline Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support physicians in a Bloomfield Hills, MI clinic. The role emphasizes clinical and administrative duties, including patient setup, intake, vitals, X-ray support, and care coordination. This is a part-time, on-site position in a multidisciplinary clinic.

Ideal candidates have podiatry or orthopedic clinic exposure, X-ray experience, and strong EMR/communication skills. Travel to nearby clinics may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Podiatry/Orthopedic clinic experience preferred.
• X-ray experience is a plus.
• EMR experience, preferably Athenahealth.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Place patients in exam rooms and prepare them for physician visit.
• Perform vitals, review medical and surgical history, and intake.
• Take X-rays and assist in exam room as needed.
• Restock exam rooms and maintain cleanliness of rooms.
• Coordinate patient care and follow-up appointments as directed.
• Travel to surrounding clinics if needed.
