Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is seeking a highly detail-oriented technician for Diesel POD 70 – Block Repair. You will inspect blocks/heads for damage, follow a defined repair process, and complete final machining with mills, boring equipment, hones and valve seat cutters.

Diesel POD 70 – Block Repair

Job Overview:

This position requires someone that is highly detailed and able to follow an established process. It includes inspecting block/head for any damage and then following the established process to make necessary repairs. The position requires the use of basic hand tools including air impacts and measurement gauges to determine if the product is in tolerance. This position will also require the use of mills, boring equipment, hones and valve seat cutters to make final machining finish. Basic math skills are a requirement.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm
• Overtime available

• Starting rate $20.00 + based on experience
