Job summary

JASPER Engines & Transmissions in Jasper, IN is seeking a detail-oriented Diesel POD 70 Block Repair technician. You will inspect blocks/heads for damage, then follow a defined process to perform repairs using mills, boring equipment, hones and valve seat cutters.

The role requires basic math and the use of hand tools and measurement gauges to verify tolerances; schedule is Monday–Friday, with overtime and opportunities to earn wage increases through quarterly reviews.

Diesel POD 70 – Block Repair Job Overview

This position requires someone that is highly detailed and able to follow an established process. It includes inspecting block/head for any damage and then following the established process to make necessary repairs. The position requires the use of basic hand tools including air impacts and measurement gauges to determine if the product is in tolerance. This position will also require the use of mills, boring equipment, hones and valve seat cutters to make final machining finish. Basic math skills are a requirement.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm. Overtime available.

Starting rate $20.00 + based on experience. Multiple performance reviews within your first two years, which include the ability to receive multiple wage increases.
