DataBricks in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Sr. Workplace Services Specialist to lead PNW workplace events and experiences, aligning regional strategy with the global experience plan. You will design and execute regionally focused event programs that foster culture, community, and employee connection.

You’ll establish operational playbooks, manage budgets and vendors, and scale the workplace services program for Bellevue and Seattle in a high‑growth environment.

Qualifications

• Expertise: 6‑8+ years in corporate events or hospitality, serving as a technical authority with a track record of elevating high‑performing teams.
• Event Strategy: Proficient in leading a diverse portfolio, from agile cultural moments to large‑scale annual offsites, holiday celebrations, executive briefing centre events, and business meetings and trainings.
• Technical Proficiency: AI‑first mindset with budget tracking, procurement, and event management platforms (e.g., Asana) to provide real‑time status dashboards to leadership.
• Safety & Inclusion: Safety‑first mindset with CPR/First Aid certifications; accessible and inclusive experiences for all abilities.
• Systems Knowledge: Experience with Google Suite, Asana, Slack, EPOCH, Fresh Service, and Envoy.
• Adaptability: Ability to extract clear goals from ambiguous requests and create executable plans in fast‑paced environments.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work on‑site events including evenings and weekends.
• Stakeholder management: Partner with senior leaders, vendors, and cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality service delivery.
• Team Enablement: Mentoring peers, building scalable playbooks, coaching teams to execute first class events.
• Culture Building: Design experiences fostering an inclusive, engaged workplace with inclusion teams and affinity groups.
• Accountability: Take ownership of deliverables with high reliability.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Event Delivery: Scope and execute complex workplace initiatives that drive culture and employee experiences.
• Operational Excellence: Manage project lifecycles with dashboards and SOPs to ensure flawless execution.
• Process Optimization: Improve event scalability, reliability, and cost‑efficiency across regional lifecycle.
• Data‑Driven Insights: Provide site data and leadership insights to inform regional strategy and measure impact.
• Stakeholder Management & Communication: Maintain transparent cadences with milestones, budgets, and risks.
• Strategic Partnership: Align event experiences with business objectives and goals.
• Future Planning: Maintain an annual roadmap to scale the PNW strategy.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor internal and outsourced teams on operational standards.
• Vendor Management: Oversee Food & Beverage SLAs to meet budget and experience goals.
• Standardization: Maintain SOPs and playbooks for regional consistency.
• Innovation: Integrate automation and AI tools to improve reporting and efficiency.
