Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Global Workplace Services Lead focused on events and experiences to design and execute a multi-region strategy. The role drives office culture, on-site event operations, and executive gatherings across locations, with travel to hubs as needed.

You will partner with multiple internal teams, manage vendor relationships, and build scalable playbooks while overseeing a multi-million-dollar budget. This is an in-office role based in San Francisco.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years leading workplace experience or events at a fast-growing global tech company.
• Experience planning large-scale, high-budget corporate events globally.
• Proven ability to execute in-office events and manage constraints.
• Demonstrated skill in coordinating complex logistics with multiple timelines.
• Expertise in event production, AV integration, and VIP service.
• Excellent communication and written plans for events and operations.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive a global workplace experience strategy with regional roadmaps.
• Direct end-to-end planning for high-visibility events and executive gatherings.
• Collaborate with Internal Comms, People/HR, Marketing, IT/AV, and vendors.
• Manage multi-region vendor contracts and relationships.
• Develop global playbooks, SLAs, and operational guidelines.
• Oversee multi-million-dollar global experience budget and metrics.
• Mentor workplace specialists and outsourced teams.
