Job summary

Apellis Pharmaceuticals in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Senior Hematology Account Manager to drive sales and deepen relationships with key accounts in the hematology/oncology and rare disease space. You will serve as the primary commercial interface, develop business plans, and collaborate with patient services, reimbursement support, medical affairs, and operations to achieve territory objectives.

With 4+ years in biotech/pharma sales and account management, you will travel up to 75%

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree.
• 4+ years biotech/pharma sales and account management experience.
• Experience in Hematology/Oncology and/or rare disease preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain proficiency in relevant disease states, patient and clinic experience, market landscape, and product.
• Drive company revenue by achieving all sales/marketing objectives and goals.
• Serve as the primary commercial interface with key accounts, being accountable for the overall customer experience.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of and relationship with key accounts, including all relevant stakeholders.
• Establish and execute business plans for key accounts aligning with franchise strategy and resources.
• Work collaboratively with patient services, reimbursement support, medical affairs, and operations teams to achieve objectives.
• Share insights with the home-office team and participate in internal workshops and readouts.
