Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior PMO professional to provide PMO support to utility and energy clients on technology implementation projects. You will coordinate planning, scheduling, reporting, and governance across multiple workstreams.

The role requires strong PMO expertise, excellent communication, and the ability to travel. Based in the United States, candidates with 4+ years in PMO/controls within utilities or energy are preferred.

Qualifications

• US citizenship or permanent residency is required due to client engagement.
• Total years of experience must include 4+ years in PMO, project controls, or related roles in Utilities or Energy.
• Experience supporting technology implementation projects in regulated industries preferred.
• Strong understanding of PMO methodologies, governance, and lifecycle management.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel and work in fast-paced client environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide PMO support to utility and energy provider clients on technology implementation projects.
• Support project planning, tracking, reporting, and governance across multiple workstreams.
• Assist with developing and maintaining schedules, RAID logs, action items, and status reports.
• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, capture decisions, and follow up on actions.
• Partner with PMs, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive execution and issue resolution.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and support mitigation and escalation.
• Contribute to process improvements to strengthen PMO practices and delivery consistency.
• Communicate clearly across internal teams and external stakeholders.
