Job summary

Velera is hiring a Manager, Client Delivery Experience to lead a cross-functional team delivering high-quality card processing projects and configurations for multiple vendor platforms. You will define requirements, guide implementations, support sales in proposals, and ensure client satisfaction with measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field and/or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Eight years in credit/debit card and/or financial industry related experience, inclusive of five years in client project and/or conversion.
• Five years management experience preferred.
• Ability to lead large cross-functional teams and engage with senior leadership within the organization.
• Ability to travel up to 50% or as needed.
• Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead highly trained, client-facing project management and/or technical staff delivering cross-functional project implementations.
• Oversee requirements definition for product/service implementations including conversions and mergers to ensure successful deployment.
• Define project plans, technical procedures, and support implementation on processing systems to guarantee client satisfaction.
• Forecast, recruit, and develop resources to meet area requirements and assign based on priority.
• Promote process improvements, establish PMO principles, and monitor change events for timely delivery.
• Attend client visits and vendor meetings, provide pre-sale support and travel as needed.
• Maintain KPIs/OKRs and provide after-hours on-call support for installations.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align with organizational goals and strategic initiatives.
