Job summary

AltaGas, a North American energy infrastructure company, seeks a Manager of the PMO to lead a team delivering enterprise and capital projects across utilities, ensuring safety, timeliness, budget adherence, and regulatory compliance.

You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Permitting, Accounting, Regulatory Affairs, and Leadership to align portfolio with strategic and regulatory objectives, while driving governance, reporting, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management, or related field.
• PMP certification strongly preferred.
• 5-7 years of progressive project/program management experience, preferably in utility/regulatory infra.
• 5+ years in PMO leadership or portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain PMO standards, governance, and program tools.
• Lead a team of project managers to deliver a portfolio of capital and enterprise initiatives.
• Provide portfolio reporting using controls, risk, change, and QA frameworks.
• Ensure alignment with strategic plans, regulatory mandates, and asset priorities.
• Mentor portfolio/program managers and drive execution excellence.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cost estimating, and schedule management.
